Pintail Sectioning Comb

A pintail comb with a long metal tail, for parting a wig cleanly and lifting sections while you work. Thirteen colours, which matters less than the fact that it does one job properly.

What it is for — and what it is not

This is a parting tool, not a detangling one. The metal tail draws a straight, sharp part and the teeth lift and hold sections. Do not comb through a synthetic wig with it. Fine teeth drag on synthetic fibre, break it, and turn a smooth wig frizzy. For detangling, use a wide-tooth comb and work from the ends upward.
